All pasties, pies and sausage rolls must be cooked from frozen

Frozen Meat Pasty

Place on a greased baking tray or on parchment paper and brush well with beaten egg. Place in a preheated oven at 200℃ (400F/ gas mark 6) for 20 minutes or until golden. Then cover with foil (shiny side down) and reduce the temperature to 180℃ (350F/ gas mark 4) for a further 40 minutes. For cheese and onion and vegetable pasties cook for 10 minutes less.

Frozen Bacon Bites

Place on a greased baking tray or on parchment paper and brush well with beaten egg. Place in a preheated oven at 200℃ (400F/ gas mark 6) for 30 minutes or until golden.

Frozen buffet pasty

Place on a greased baking tray or on parchment paper and brush well with beaten egg. Place in a preheated oven at 200℃ (400F/ gas mark 6) for 50 minutes or until golden.

frozen sausage roll

Place on a greased baking tray or on parchment paper and brush well with beaten egg. Place in a preheated oven at 200℃ (400F/ gas mark 6) for 15 minutes or until golden. Then cover with foil (shiny side down) and reduce the temperature to 180℃ (350F/ gas mark 4) for a further 30 minutes. 

frozen chicken and ham, turkey AND CRANBERRY OR PASTY PIE

Place on a greased baking tray or on parchment paper and brush well with a beaten egg. Place in a preheated oven at 200℃ (400F/ gas mark 6) for 30 minutes until golden. Then cover with foil (shiny side down) and reduce the temperature to 180℃ (350F/ gas mark 4) for a further 45 minutes. 

REHEATING OF STEAK PIES, COTTAGE PIES, FISH PIES AND LASAGNES

These are all made in oven proof containers. First, remove the plastic film, place on a baking tray and put in the oven at 180℃ (350F/ gas mark 4) for 30 minutes, covering if the pastry ect. begins to over brown. If reheating from frozen leave in the oven for a further 15 minutes.


The pies can be enhanced by first removing from the foil container before heating and putting a small amount of gravy at the bottom of the tray underneath the pie. You can then reheat in the normal way as described above. 

CROISSANTS, PAIN AU RAISIN, PAIN AU CHOCOLATE

Place on baking parchment, cover and prove overnight at room temperature. By the morning they should have doubled in size! In the morning place in an oven at 180℃ (350F / gas mark 4) for 12 minutes or until golden. Dust with icing sugar. 

Sticky Toffee Pudding 

Defrost first and warm up in the microwave (can be warmed up in the black plastic tray). 

Crumbles 

All crumbles are cooked, they just need warming through. Defrost thoroughly and heat in the oven to warm through approx. 15 mins 170 C. 

Uncooked Apple Pie 

First, remove the plastic film. Cook from frozen, milk glaze the top of the pie and place on a baking tray and bake for 30 minutes on 180 C cover for further 20 minutes. If browning quickly cover in tin foil to prevent it being too golden. 

Frozen Cheesecake 

Defrost thoroughly, remove plastic film and serve

Bread and Butter Pudding 

These are all made in oven proof containers.  First, remove the plastic film, defrost thoroughly and place on a baking tray and put in the oven at 180⁰C (350F/gas mark 4) for 30 minutes, covering if the pastry etc.  begins to over brown.  These have been part baked already.
