Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. The entire hub is powered by renewable energy generated right here on the farm, through our wind turbine (installed in 2014) and solar panels (installed between 2011 and 2023). 

This clean energy not only runs our EV chargers but also supports the wider Strawberry Fields site, making us entirely self-sufficient.

Each charger is individually named and decorated to celebrate the farm’s homegrown produce and seasonal pick-your-own events — from strawberries and pumpkins to tulips, sunflowers, beetroot, and lavender. It’s a fun, colourful touch that makes charging at Strawberry Fields a little more special.

While your car charges, why not relax in our award-winning farm shop restaurant with a coffee or a bite to eat? You can also browse the farm shop for fresh, seasonal produce grown on-site.

At Strawberry Fields Buckfastleigh, the Osprey Charging Hub makes it easy for EV drivers to stop, recharge, and enjoy the best of the South West. Conveniently located just off the A38, the hub offers 16 ultra-fast 300kW charging points for a quick and reliable charge during your journey. Open daily from 8am to 6pm, it’s the perfect place to pause, refresh, and explore. While your vehicle charges, you can visit our farm shop to browse fresh, seasonal produce, enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee, or tuck into something from our café. Everything here reflects our passion for quality, sustainability, and a warm countryside welcome.
